Dr. Sandeep Raut

Dr. Sandeep Raut is a distinguished Innovation enabler specializing in molecular biology, neuroscience, and deep-tech entrepreneurship. He is graduate in Biotechnology and post graduate in Environmental Biotechnology through a DBT sponsored program at Shivaji University Kolhapur. He holds GATE and UGC-NET qualification and a PhD in Biological Sciences at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal. His research work focuses on molecular chaperones and their rope in neuronal proteostasis. His research has been published in prestigious journals, and he received multiple awards, including prestigious EMBO travel grant for presenting his research. After PhD, Dr. Raut chose a career path of Innovation enabler and contributed as incubation manager at IISER Bhopal, IISER Pune, and now serves as General Manager of the Technology Business Incubator at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. He plays a key role in supporting science-driven startups, securing funding opportunities, and bridging research.
