Dr. Arindam Kushagra

Dr. Arindam Kushagra earned his B.Tech (Hons.) and M.Tech in Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, with his dissertation focusing on bacterial response to toxic metals. He pursued a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology at IIT Bombay, studying cytoskeletal microtubules and microcantilever sensors. After a postdoc at IIT Delhi on pH sensors, he became an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Kolkata, working on novel sensing platforms. He then led new product development at Innvolution Healthcare, securing five innovations successfully integrated to their existing product line and filing two patents. In May 2024, he joined BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, as an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Overall, he has got 6 patents filed and over 20 national & international publications in various reputed journals and conferences. His interests lie in exploring prospective “Blue Ocean” areas and in design & development of novel technologies for societal applications.
